Having been a modeler myself, since 1957, I've come to know what is needed and desired by the consumer. I've also spent many hourson lonely mountain trails as they twisted their way through the dark timber. While hiking, I've studied what God has provided in the way of scenery and landscaping, then interpreted that into the form of miniatures for my own use. In 1991, I made a decision to sell the business I was operating at that time and produce a realistic line of scenery products. Timberline Scenery was born by combining my love for the outdoors with modeling. My commitment is to produce the most realistic products available at a fair price.

Since there are several manufacturers of ground cover, we needed an edge on the competition. We've achieved this edge in two ways. One, we offer the most realistic colors available, and two, we give more bang for the buck! Compare quality, quantity and price, there IS a difference! Take a close look at our colors. The greens are straight out of a meadow, taken from a lonely pine on a steep rocky slope, or drawn from the Blue Grass of Kentucky. Lost Canyon Sage and Sage Brush Blue are true to their names and can be found in many parts of the West. The yellows and oranges mimic the brilliance of autumn, while Indian Paint Brush is a dead ringer for the plant itself. The name Tumbleweed Tan is an exact match for the Tumblin' Tumbleweeds of which the Son's of the Pioneers sang about. And you can almost smell the fragrance of the Lilac growing in grandma's back yard.
